Jinger Adams Design Team Submission

Hello Everyone,
I made this layout to submit for the Jinger Adams call.  My mother-in-law took these pics of my kids one Sunday morning and I had to have them and make a layout. I had so much fun making this layout. I did a few things that were lurking in my mind dieing to get out. I wanted my title/journaling to be a major part of this page. I double cut the small script in blue and a green pattern paper, and the large print was cut 4 times and layered with the top cut being colored with my Copic markers to complement the page. This was somewhat time consuming but well worth it in the end. I made a mat for the page by cutting an 11 1/2 square out of the kraft card stock and using the outer frame. I sewed this to the patterned background and distressed and curled the paper back a bit. The butterflies were made by layering vellum, patterned paper, and twine for the large, and 3 layers of vellum layered and stapled for the small. The top 2 layers of the small are colored with Copics.

American Girl Doll

Hello Everyone,
I started keeping a list of layouts I want to do this year and here is one completed. These pics. were taken in 09 and I really wanted to get them in an album. My brother bought my daughter this doll when she was 5yr(he was really leery because it was an expensive doll for a little kid), and this is what it looked like 6yrs later. She took really good care of it.

Winter 2011 Slumber Party

Hello Everyone,
I try to have a get together for my daughter over every winter and summer break. This time it was a sewing slumber party. I found a project that I thought would be very useful for the girls and some what easy for beginners. I got the ideal from KwernerDesigns. She had done several of these and I thought these would work great for our conventions and sleep overs. The girls were all here by 12pm on a Fri. an we started prepping things about 2pm. I took them through the whole process, from cutting material down to the finished bag. Two of the girls have never sewn before and two had made dresses before. I was very proud of all the girls, it was a long day, but by 10pm that night everyone had a finished bag and could go off and just be silly for the rest of the time. They worked their little fingers off. Here are some collages of the pics.

May Scrapbook Layout

Hello Everyone,
 So far I have done 4 layouts for this month, I met my goal.  I'm also working on doing more journaling on my pages.  I really love looking at Scrapbooks and knowing something about the story of the pictures. I did this lovely layout of my son, and I used the Tiny Tags die as the main accents from Paper Trey Ink. I also used mostly Echo Parks For The Record collection paper, a few rub-ons I had in my stash, buttons, and some I-Rock metallic bling. I cut my Title with my Cricut using Make The Cut.

I'm a Fairy Princess

Hello Everyone,
I'm so excited to tell you my good news. I have been chosen to be on the Prairie Fairy Design Team.  I have worked with Roberta's digi stamps before and loveeeee them so much.  Now I get to work with them a lot more. I'm also looking forward to working with some more very talented ladies. So, on to my latest project.

 Here is a Digi scrapped page to share a little about me. I thought in the future,when my kids look back through all the albums I have made, they should see me in them at least a few times.  Some of the text is a quote from another blogger and I changed it some to fit me. Can You Feel The Love

Hello Everyone,
I love the feel of paper, I believe I'm addicted to it, all colors, shapes, and textures. I also love to take pictures and play with them, hence that's how I ended up getting into Digital Scrapping.  So now I do both because I could never give up paper.  Here is a page I'm sending to Prairie Fairy for the Design Team Call that's going on right now.  The Bunny is a PNG from them and I colored it in PSE , I used the colors from my paper to color. This was the first time I have ever done this(not to shabby).  It was a lot of fun once you get the hang of it.  I had lots of help from Roberta of Prairie Fairy(Thank Yon again)
