I'm a Fairy Princess

Hello Everyone,
I'm so excited to tell you my good news. I have been chosen to be on the Prairie Fairy Design Team.  I have worked with Roberta's digi stamps before and loveeeee them so much.  Now I get to work with them a lot more. I'm also looking forward to working with some more very talented ladies. So, on to my latest project.

Here is a Digi scrapped page to share a little about me. I thought in the future, when my kids look back through all the albums I have made, they should see me in them at least a few times.  Some of the text is a quote from another blogger and I changed it some to fit me. I'm sorry I can't remember who, something I'm working on. Enjoy and CRAFT ON!!

Can You Feel The Love

Hello Everyone,
I love the feel of paper, I believe I'm addicted to it, all colors, shapes, and textures. I also love to take pictures and play with them, hence that's how I ended up getting into Digital Scrapping.  So now I do both because I could never give up paper.  Here is a page I'm sending to Prairie Fairy for the Design Team Call that's going on right now.  The Bunny is a PNG from them and I colored it in PSE , I used the colors from my paper to color. This was the first time I have ever done this(not to shabby).  It was a lot of fun once you get the hang of it.  I had lots of help from Roberta of Prairie Fairy(Thank Yon again)

Crafty Cardmakers Spotlight 37 1/2

Hello Everyone,
I did it! I colored this whole image with Derwert Studio color pencils only. I used baby oil to blend the pencil. I am very happy with how it turned out. This flower was made by me using a cut file called hydrangea from Penny Duncan Creations. Please come join the fun a Crafty Cardmakers and check out the other Design Team creations.

Where Has The Time Gone

Hello Everyone,
Wow, I can't believe it's been a month since my last post. Between getting a break from home schooling, being sick, kids being sick, husband being sick and busy crafting I haven't posted lately.  So the rest of this month you will be treated with many post of recent creations.
These three pics are of a little notepad I made to keep track of things that I had to do before the 25th.  I used a Nestie to cut the cover and all pages for the pad. I used BoBunny's Winter Joy papers and a silver metallic paper, and a retired stamp from Stampin Up. I made the snowflake flower and died it with Glimmer mist to match the paper and added Rock Candy Distress stickles for the shimmer you see, I also dyed the ribbon to match. I entered this project for a Design Team Call and made the team.  More about that later.
